Club History
The Timp Ridge Runners held its first
meeting on Wednesday, January 4, 1995. The idea to form
a snowmobile club in Utah County was that of Harry
Collard along with Ron and Laura Barnes.
An
advertisement was placed in the paper and notices spread
around the area. The first meeting had 25 people in
attendance. The hopes and goals of this newly formed
club were discussed, an election was held for club
officers, and various club names were thought up.
Later
the name Timp Ridge Runners was selected (after Mount
Timpanogos located in Utah County).
